Eliana Blechman is a curator and arts worker based in New York. 

She has held curatorial positions at Dieu Donné, TEI Art-in-Buildings, and AC Institute, and curated independent exhibitions for Hunter College Art Galleries (New York, NY); Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts (New York, NY); NADASpace/P.A.D. (New York, NY); 601Artspace (New York, NY); The Boiler at ELM Foundation (Brooklyn, NY); Walter’s at Walter Elwood Museum (Amsterdam, NY); and more. 

While Director of Curatorial Affairs and Partnerships at Dieu Donné, Eliana developed and helped facilitate exhibitions and collaboration with museums and arts spaces across the country, including Print Center New York (New York, NY); MSU Broad Art Museum (Ann Arbor, MI); Stanley Museum of the Art (Iowa City, IA); the Arkansas Museum of Art (Little Rock, AR); Asheville Art Museum (Asheville, NC); Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at SUNY New Paltz (New Paltz, NY); and the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art (Memphis, TN); and established new partnerships with Artists Alliance, Inc.; Armory Arts Week; and Hauser & Wirth Institute; among others. She currently works in Development at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. 

Her writing has appeared in WhiteHot Magazine of Contemporary Art; Art Spiel; Hand Papermaking Magazine; and in exhibition books and catalogs. 

Eliana received her MA in Art History from Hunter College, NY, and was awarded a Hofmann Drawing Research Award in support of her thesis work on realisms and the body. She also holds an Advanced Certificate in Curatorial Studies from Hunter College, and received her BA as a double major in Art History and History from New York University.
